DISCOVER
Find what matters.
Discover and organise relevant academic literature across research sources and languages.
Research with Evidence. Discover with Intelligence.
SARAP brings literature discovery, evidence analysis, research development and academic workflow into one AI-assisted environment — helping researchers work more systematically from question to evidence to insight.
Currently under development and preparing for pilot testing.
How does evidence-based AI assistance affect research quality?
01 · THE CHALLENGE
Researchers work across academic databases, reference managers, documents, spreadsheets and AI tools to discover literature, evaluate evidence, organise knowledge and develop academic work. Each tool may solve part of the problem. The research process itself remains disconnected.
SARAP is being designed to connect these fragmented activities within one structured research environment.

02 · THE PLATFORM
SARAP is being developed around four interconnected areas of the research process.
PLANNED PLATFORM CAPABILITIES
DISCOVER
Discover and organise relevant academic literature across research sources and languages.
ANALYZE
Examine methodologies, findings, limitations, relationships and research gaps systematically.
CREATE
Build research questions, structures, literature reviews and academic drafts with AI assistance grounded in selected sources.
MANAGE
Organise sources, evidence, research materials and project activity within a unified workspace.
03 · THE SARAP APPROACH
SARAP is being designed not simply to generate academic text, but to help researchers work systematically with sources, evidence and research decisions.
01
AI-assisted outputs should remain traceable to identifiable academic sources and supporting evidence.
02
AI supports discovery, analysis and research development. Academic judgement and responsibility remain with the researcher.
03
SARAP is being developed for research workflows across Uzbek, Russian and English academic environments.
04 · WHO SARAP IS FOR
SARAP is being developed for both individual research workflows and institutional research environments.
INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH
Independent Researchers
Develop and manage research projects within a structured environment.
Graduate & Doctoral Researchers
Move systematically from literature discovery to evidence, analysis and academic writing.
Academic Supervisors & Faculty
Support, review and guide research development with greater structure and transparency.
INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH
Universities & Research Institutions
Build more connected research workflows across researchers, projects and academic units.
Academic Journals & Research Units
Support structured scholarly assessment, evidence review and research-quality workflows.
05 · DEVELOPMENT
SARAP is currently moving through technical development toward pilot testing.
The platform will be developed iteratively around real research workflows, academic standards and feedback from researchers and institutions.

06 · PROJECT LEADERSHIP
SARAP was initiated and is led by Sherzod Atamuradov, PhD, Associate Professor and Rector of Sharq University.
SARAP is being developed as one possible answer to that question.
The project originates from a practical question:
“How can artificial intelligence strengthen academic research without weakening evidence standards, scholarly integrity or researcher responsibility?”
07 · VISION
SARAP is being developed first around the needs of Uzbekistan's research and higher education ecosystem, with a long-term vision for international use, collaboration and integration.
Local understanding. Global research standards.
08 · COLLABORATION
We welcome conversations with researchers, universities and institutional partners interested in pilot participation, research collaboration or contributing to the development of SARAP.
For pilot participation, institutional partnership, research collaboration or other enquiries related to SARAP, contact the project directly.
